On March 19, 2020, Sal’s Pizza and PRKD Brands announced Pizza-For-A-Purpose (#PIZZAFORAPURPOSE) to help community members of Lawrence, Massachusetts, in need during this time of crisis. Slashing prices in half, the organization will offer discounted pizzas for $4.99 to respond to the recent challenges many families face. Moreover, the brands will partner with Elder Services, First Responders, and Hospital staff to provide boxed pizzas to all in need, keeping people fed while maintaining CDC protocols.

Then in mid-April, Sal Lupoli, the CEO and founder of Sal’s Pizza and the Lupoli Companies, delivered over 200 slices of pizza to Lawrence General Hospital to thank the doctors, nurses, and hospital workers for their dedication and hard work during the COVID-19 pandemic. Then Lupoli and wife, Kati Lupoli, delivered pizzas to the Chelmsford Police and Fire Department. Through #pizzawithapurpose, Sal’s Pizza has discounted pizza at each of its locations and is providing pizza-making kits to families during the Massachusetts stay-at-home orders.

“Our mission is to help those that are helping our communities fight this virus. The courageous work that first responders are doing is hard and it does not go unnoticed. I hope that by delivering pizzas and saying thank you, we can help our first responders in a small way,” says Lupoli.

As this pandemic continues, they will be visiting facilities throughout the Merrimack Valley to assist those in need. If any member of the community is in need or organizations would like to take advantage of these opportunities, please contact Gerrylynn Darcy, Senior Vice President at (978) 490-0905.

#PIZZAWITHAPURPOSE is Lupoli Companies’ way to give back to the community in this time of need through Sal’s Pizza and our PRKD brands. A member of the Merrimack Valley ecosystem for over three decades, our CEO, Sal Lupoli, his family, and our management team are committed to our employees and the community above all else. The strength of our team lies within our values and we continue to strive to find ways to serve others. Through #PIZZAWITHAPURPOSE, we have not only slashed our prices in half to support families within our community but we are also donating hundreds of pizzas weekly to first responders, health care professionals, elderly, construction workers, and others who are impacted by this crisis.
